New TBSC Jackets

Seeing a large group of club members wearing identical club jackets or uniforms at a competition creates a a certain presense and sense of unity. We are proud to announce that the Tampa Bay SC has selected the styles for the new club jackets and pants for our skaters to wear. Samples were presented at the club's annual meeting on June 21. The colors selected are black with royal blue.

TBSC MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL

Club membership renewal letters have been mailed to all current members of the Tampa Bay Skating Club. If you do not receive your letter, either we do not have a correct address for you or you did not renew your membership last year. If you do not receive a renewal letter by June 14, but you want to be a member of the Tampa Bay Skating Club and US Figure Skating for the 2008-2009 skating year, please contact Pat McNamara at pmcojm@aol.com with your name, USFSA number, and test status (tested or no-test) and Pat will let you know how to renew your membership. For members who have received their letters, simply follow the directions in your renewal letter to enjoy another year of membership in TBSC and USFS. Please note, dues have increased a very small amount to cover the increase that USFS is charging our club to register each member with US Figure Skating. The club incurs no additional profit from the increase in club dues.

PHOTO OP!

We are planning a special bulletin board to include pictures of our skaters wearing their Club jackets while on vacation. We want your pictures whether you go to somewhere locally like Busch Gardens, Key West or Europe. Please take your Club jacket along and get a picture of you wearing your jacket. If it's in front of some historic or other prominent landmark, so much the better. Send by Pat Carhart via email at snoopyphc@aol.com or give it to her when you see her at the rink.

Here's the first photo: Teresa Nielsen taking a break from competing at Adult Nationals this past April.
